Notes for chart 1.  

George Brickhouse and Hannah Luddington were married November 4, 1661 at Hunger's Parish, Northampton County, Virginia. Book IX, page 114, "List of persons baptized, married and buried in Hungars Parish 25 March 1661/62."   Ages for Major, Peter and William Brickhouse obtained from "Colonial Residents of Virginia's Eastern Shore Whose Ages Were Proved Before Court Officials of Accomack and Northampton Counties", page 13.   Mary (Molly) Belote was the daughter of Edward Belote and Mary Nottingham.   Sophia Rogers was the daughter of Nathaniel Rogers, born 1697. Will Book 21, page 12, Northampton County, Virginia. (Will of Nathaniel Rogers, 1754.   Ann Carpenter was the widow of Stephen Carpenter.   Rebecca Brickhouse and Edward Belote had at least two sons, Littleton Belote and George Belote.   George Brickhouse, Sr. had a servant named Marcus Terricus who appeared before the court in Northampton County in 1674, to have his age determined by the court. He was born in 1659. Also Thomas Allen born 1651/52 was a servant of George Brickhouse in 1664/65.
